I’m thinking about staying in Amsterdam four about a month. I’m not a huge party-er, or a big fan of doing drugs or the red light district, and I’m a little nervous that there won’t be much for me.
A- What can you do in Amsterdam that doesn’t involve getting high or prostitution?
B- How safe is Amsterdam?

I was just checking out this vid on youtube about the Amsterdam Red Light District http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCN9KevQFiA and some guy mentioned you can get “service” from a woman for 50 euros (about $75 or $80). So, how many guys actually admit that they’ve been “serviced” by prostitutes. And, when guys go to Amsterdam, do most of them try out the prostitutes??

Will internet naming conventions (ie.com, .net) be revised anytime soon?

I find the internet to be an ever increasing mass of confusion. More and more sites everyday, and nobody can index them all. Search engines promise to keep improving, learning peoples individual tastes, but it seems that a major revamping is in order… shouldn’t there be some way to put sites into detailed catagories, like neighborhoods, or shopping malls, possibly regional indexes. Wouldn’t it make sense? What good is all the information, commerce, news, media, etc, etc, if it’s not organized, factual or relevant? I don’t care about car dealerships in other states. We need a way to allow educational sites to be submitted for factual accuracy. There could even be a red light district. What do you think?

I saw a hardcover book with my girl friend one day. It was completely black (ithink) with a red lightbulb on the cover. I believe that it is about the red light district. If anyone has anyideas please let me know we forgot the title and she really wants to read it. PLease help if you any ideas

The man burned early during the lunar eclipse. Dust storms were amazing and really missed. I love a good rainstorm slip + slide dancing to Just Can’t Get Enough by Depche Mode with a triple rainbow at the Red Light District. Our camp, Vertical Camp was big, and I miss the ever changing nightly colors, glowing, a beacon for sleepy eyes giving us the right path home. The Milky Way, Orion to the east and all the stars. A night out at the club doesn’t compare to partying at the temple with Disorient… A little on the rough side, but hope you enjoy the video.
