For Those Who Have Been To Amsterdam…?

These are serious questions. I know a big attraction about the city is the fact that weed is legal, but if you already smoke weed at your own home, is it really that much worth it just to smoke it legally in Amsterdam? I’m not dissing, I just want to know. Also, I’ve heard about the whole red light district and the legal prostitution, for those who have experienced it, what was it like?
won’t take me to the site, keeps saying ‘warning, this is an attack site” etc…anyone else?

firstly, its not legal, th elaw is overlooked because its a soft drug
dont think you can run up to a police officer and blow it in there face.
i wouldn’t say its worth it to go to amsterdam strictly for smoking dope, but its definately a sweet addition to your trip.
Red Light district is an experience, i didnt personally get a prostitute (i’m 20 and its amsterdam, you can pick up any drunk/high chick at a hostel) but walking down was kinda sweet, most are really hot (if they are actually girls) but also made me feel kinda greasy
I have been plenty times in Amsterdam you know the best thing to do is rent a boot for a weekend, its amazing, the red light district is nice too no such thing you thinking about though no violent people at all, Amsterdam isn’t violent what so ever ist more like you walking into the flower power period.. the 60 tees.. its great its changed now ive heard more to do with art and museums.. but the raw Amsterdam is great the markets the night life its all while worth going the story’s the people extreme and passionate relaxed joyfully peacefully arty musical very friendly people up for adventure nothing weird to them .. you definitely should try it and oh the weed is just one of the things they do there is a lot more to it.. enjoy rent a boot a listen to them mmmmmmm
