yeah other famous artists just seem to enjoy their fame. what are they doing to help people? I heard that some of these girls have been invited to perform in Germany. he takes time out of his own performance tours to teach them a couple of times a year. he is the BOMB

Just an FYI, the courtesan world is gone. He is not, as he says, teaching them to become dancers, he is teaching them to believe in themselves. There can be no expectations, he knows he cannot stop prostitution, it’s the oldest profession in the world! What’s important is he does not rest on being a world famous artist, he uses his fame and his great artistry for good. You’re right, we need more people in the world like him!

  19. tatulover1489 says:

it is a great work . a gient step towards how an artist can also help in social upliftment. it a lesson for those gurus who make art only for beauty. dance in our life and hope the light he is showing children will be a major turn in their lives. god bless him for such care of the sociaty.
he has magnificant power to teach. he is not only famous, he is really a great person

  24. natawarinrittya says:

Panditji is not one to rest and take an easy route in his art or his life. He challenges himself and each of his students to reach their highest potential in all ways.

For a world class artist to take himself and his work to this environment and to give hope and a different kind of meaning to the lives of these children is of ultimate importance in showing what can be done if each person has the will to give back to the world as he does.

  25. kathakdd says:

I don’t know of any other major kathak artist who is going into the red light district like this and teaching these girls with such committment. this is some Guru!
