More of the Red Light District

Yet another boat ride down the Oudezijds Achterburgwal in Amsterdam’s ‘Red Light’ district. It’s definitely one of my favorite routes through the city. At night, it’s almost like a carnival with the interesting mix of people, flashing lights and a sense of excitement in the air. Then, after a few blocks, you return to the peace and quiet of one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.
Why am I not there?!?!?
