The saga of corruption continues in New York City… Incredibly the leadership of ACORN says this body of work is falsified and edited to make them look bad. My suggestion is that the leadership (congress, senate, administration and ACORN) best understand that ACORN is now finished DBAU along with their unscrupulous 360 associated co-mingled entities. Obama’ and his administration are profligate spenders, so course we should expect this. Now we push back hard, our focus on defeating the …

That is false. At least 3 – San Diego, Baltimore, and Brooklyn, offered to aid them after learning of their plans to import underage girls from El Salvador for the purposes of prostitution. Five different offices advised them how to break the law in one way or another. One office reported them to the police. And not all the tapes have been released.

  6. bobklahn says:

Which Acorn woman? There were 7 offices, six did not try to help him with any child prostitution, one said she would be fired for discussing it with him, two called the cops, one tried to help the woman escape prostitution.
The one office that did offer him help got fired.
Since when do you have to tell the IRS explicitly what you do? If you are a stripper you can say a dancer, that’s accurate. If you are a hit man you can call yourself pro-active security. Where is the legal definition?

  7. bobklahn says:

Uh… who said that? I said 6 out of seven did not help him with underage prostitutes at all. None tried to help him smuggle them in. He or she claimed a pimp was bringing them in, and they were going to help them escape.
Two offices O’keefe never said he was going to run underage prostitutes. Two called the cops. One tried to help the women escape prostitution. One said Acorn would have nothing to do with prostitution and she would be fired for just discussing it.

  8. bobklahn says:

It’s not tax fraud if they report the income and pay the taxes. If you are self employed where does the IRS define jobs? I put down a common description, but there is no legal term I am required to use.
O’Keefe said they are not paying now. The acorn people said he had to pay taxes. The never knew how much she earned, so how do they tell her what to report.
I work for a company, if I was self employed that’s all I would have to say. Independent contractor. construction/technical/whatever.

  9. bobklahn says:

You may not have seen it… as I have said, one office went bad, and was fired. No other office actually tried to help them. Two called the cops, one tried to help his female companion escape prostitution, one said Acorn would have nothing to do with prostitution and she would be fired for even talking about it, and two they didn’t even mention underage prostitutes.

Got it now? Read the transcripts, they are complete, the videos aren’t.

The ACORN woman is telling them how to get around tax law, and how to hide their source of income which is conspiracy. In the criminal law, a conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to break the law at some time in the future.

  11. bowlfan69 says:

Transferring money between individuals to hide where the money came from like the ACORN woman said at 4:40 is money laundering, or at the least fraud.

Putting misleading information on an IRS form such as lying about employment, source of monetary income, or under reporting is tax fraud.

  12. RetSquid says:

    “How is that fraud?”

Maybe by claiming underage-illegal-alien-prositutes as dependents??

  13. bobklahn says:

One office. And they got fired. No other office offered to help them with underage prostitutes.

  14. bobklahn says:

El Salvador. And Acorn didn’t do it. One office advised them on getting a mortgage, and were fired. Not one of the other 6 offices they visited tried to help them with underage prostitutes. Two even called the cops on them.

Oh, and two they didn’t even mention running underage prostitutes.

    Read the transcripts.

  15. bobklahn says:

Harvard law degree magna cum laude? Lawyer? State and US Senator? Wow! Acorn people have some impressive resumes.

  16. bobklahn says:

Ummm… O’Keefe said he was *NOT* paying taxes. The Acorn people told him he had to pay taxes to get a mortgage. How is that tax evasion? How is that failure to report? How is that fraud?

  17. jeffmagic32 says:

You said it yourself – 5 out of 7 ACORN offices tried their best to help O’Keefe and his associate smuggle in underage girls so that they could work in the sex industry.

  18. bowlfan69 says:

For those of you who are crying entrapment, sorry to burst your bubble. This is a clear case of conspiracy to commit fraud, conspiracy to commit tax fraud, tax evasion, and failure to report. All crimes punishable by fines and jail time.

  19. arubberball says:

    Entrapment…laughable.

  20. mnnicholas304 says:

so how does it feel to be a stinking fascist? and if you say that you are not a fascist then the only other explaniation for your comments above is mental illness. how can you try to convence yourself that this was “playtime”? do you not care what an idiot you are. FUCK YOU and ACORN in the cornhole

  21. dowutado says:

Yeah and there was nothing actually done, no paperwork filled out no loans no nothing, they where just talking. Had they seriously pursued loans they would not have got them. Plus these peole understand the tax system, that is not a crime it is what every person who gets there taxes done trys to do. Just because they know how to get underaged girls does not mean they do. I know how to kill people, and could tell you how but that does not mean I kill people. There is no case here.

  22. dowutado says:

ummm no they dont, but nice try

  23. DameDiabolique says:

Unfortunately, the Conservative Media is not about the Facts. These videos are ENTRAPMENT. Folks need to look up Entrapment and you will see what this is. These people just filmed some stupid workers. But they have no evidence of ACTUAL child prostitution. These two and FOX News are being SUED by ACORN. If criminal charges were pressed against ACORN and these tapes were the only evidence, ACORN would win and Entrapment would be their defense.

  24. bobklahn says:

It is absolutely clear O’Keefe is the fraud. Out of 7 Acorn offices he is known to have visited, he acknowledged 5 and he released 5 edited videos.

Acorn had one office that went bad, and were fired. All the others did *NOT* try to help O’Keefe in his child prostitution business. Two called the police on him, two he did not say he intended to engage in child prostitution, and one tried to help his girlfriend escape prostitution.

    Read the transcripts.
