I have been driving for three decades and believe me lot lizards are nowhere as bad as they were back in the 80s. The old 76 in Ontario Ca. used to pump your fuel while a lizard pumped the driver. The cb is quieter now,the lizards are more scarce and the drugs are far less out on the road.

My husband is a Professional Driver & I was otr with him for 3 years. He has been driving for over a decade & I could tell some stories!!
I used to have the cam going in the truck but it was for protection against 4 wheelers that might hit us & try a lottery lawsuit.
The lot lizards would see me with him & still knock on the door,let me say this..the majority of Drivers are so tired when they find a parking space they just want sleep & don’t care for the banging that wakes them up.
Usually we leave our parking lights on so other trucks parking next to you can see where the corner of yer truck is without damaging it. Some leave them on for lot lizards too. lol.
OK city truck stops have always been whore infested. I have even seen female truckers whoring during the slow months(winter) to make a buck. It’s apparent, though illegal, truck stops look the other way. $50 bucks? Prices have gone up since I last drove.

Is it true that when drivers at truck stops and they are at idle with just the yellow parking lights on all night, does that mean they are looking for lot lizards?

I know you know what it is, but for others, its like a no smoking sign, but with a lizard instead of a cig. I only been bothered once, and once by a crack head, who i felt so bad for, I bought her breakfast, but gave no money, cause thats going straight to the pipe!
Exactly. Think about it this way. If she betrays her pimp, she’s not only lost her source of income but she’s lost any sense of security because she’s a snitch and that makes her a target on the streets. If she takes the rap, she gets right back out on the streets and right back to work for the pimp.
Targeting johns is the best way to combat prostitution, because they usually have much more to lose than the prostitutes.
I wish every truckstop would have a patrol or something better than the security gaurd. I’m tired of crack whores banging on the door at three in the morning. I just tell them no I don’t want any company but let me ask my wife she might.

You’re assuming the prostitute would turn on her pimp – which is not the reality. Rarely will the prostitutes cooperate with the prosecution of thier pimp.
Why don’t you ever focus on the prostitutes themselves? If their arrested the pimps can be tracked down.

oh I been there man. good grief, I couldn’t get no sleep the night I was there. girls knocking at my door when I was sleep. I had to sleep with my knife and one eye open.
people act like this is a new thing at truck stops. uh….its not people, im a trucker, and this goes on at every truck stop across the country, if they really want to do something, go to west memphis petro. hell you can buy anything you want there.
The owner of the Shell station probably gets a cut from each girl to let them use the CB to talk to the scumbag truckers.
