i heard that some of the red light districts in korea were shut down by the police. so are all of them shut down or are there still some red light districts in some areas in korea?

Korea is a large place so you need to be specific. However, I assume you mean the Seoul area. As long as there are train and bus stations, there will be be “red light” districts in Korea. What you may have heard is that the popular ones such as “Miari” and “588″ don’t really allow foreigners. Also, the police camp out in the Itaewon area and near the Yongsan train station in Seoul.
