NEVER, In Alabama do they not go after barnyard animals, and they ban sex toys?
Ok. That is a stupid law, and an outdated law.
There is no reason to have them forbidden. Imagine where everyone would be if nobody was allowed to use th em.
What the hell sort of state bans the use of sex toys!?
Edit: Wanda I just googled it and apparently its NOT an old outdated law – check this out!

if thats what your into…. different strokes for different folks, just do what make you happy and stop worrying about what other people think. The only person who runs your life, is you.
ermmmm no
its 2009 you know
what people do for their own pleasure, and between consenting adults is their own affair, you will never uphold an allegation unless you have photographs
silly at best
there are way more important things to be considering
Never heard that one, but then there are tons of stupid laws on the books that aren’t enforced.
No, sex toys shouldn’t be forbidden…they should be encouraged. If more couples put some effort into spicing up their sex lives and having variety in the bedroom, they’d have fewer problems in that area. One reason some couples experience sexual stagnancy is they allow things to become mundane…more like a chore instead of something pleasurable.
to use or to buy in that state. since no one will know what you use or don’t use in the bedroom then you won’t be arrested for it. they should NOT be forbidden in any state
I didn’t know there was a law written against sex toys. What goes on in your bedroom is your business. How does this affect the safety of the public? I think you were mislead and someone is blowing smoke up your way. Is this a trick question? Lol
Edit: I just googled that website. WOW – I didn’t know this. VERY SHOCKING and stupid. Check it out on “pink unicorns” answer. Good Question Mark J -
Yeah, because then women would come running crazed out of their houses onto the streets, jumping guys like me for instant good times!
Never.. What two consenting adults do in their privacy is and never should be any of the states damn business or any one else for that matter.. Where did you come up with this one ? If you have a problem don’t buy or use them but don’t knock something on some desire to have even more of our freedoms taken or regulated away from us..
What a ridiculous and intrusive law…good lord…how on earth do they even suppose they can police that?
Ban sex toys…next they will be saying you can’t fellate your husband…or engage in cunnilingus.
These right wing moral majority types need to get their noses out of other people’s bedrooms!
I think this law is as stupid as the law in Texas was. You could not SELL them in Texas. I believe that was finally gotten rid of.
It’s the Bible belt thing. Let me just say for the record, I am from the south originally, so I do have a right to talk about it. There is laws for anything the churches deem immoral. There are whole sections of states you cannot buy beer anything like that, they call them dry counties. There are laws against single people living together and having sex. There are laws against oral sex. There are laws against anal sex. It all varies state to state, but most are from the bible belt.
These laws along with a lot of a general “We know what is good for your soul” attitude is why I no longer live there.
what? is that not like intrusion into your home telling you what you can have in the bedroom? do they have laws on drinking in your home too! more people are beaten do to alcohol , what is it deadly , you let them take such as this they will take all of your rights, its already heading that way so fast we cant keep up as it is, is that what your looking forward too.i think people (adults consenting together)should be allowed to do what they want in the bedroom, soon you will not be able to kiss your children good bye when you drop them off at school, without going to jail for doing so.
Absolutely not.
And unfortunately, such insane laws are not restricted to backwaters, as snooty folks would like to imply.
Until relatively recently, it was illegal in New York State for a man to give oral pleasure to a woman EVEN IF THEY WERE MARRIED. Even though no one has enforced them for decades, there are state laws in California about cohabitation that could make gays, or even straight roommates, into criminals.
Sometimes I think that there is something in the American political character, something deep inside, that sees people having a good time and instantly responds with “This must stop immediately.”
How else to explain these laws? Or Prohibition? Or the fact that one out of every five Americans smokes marijuana at least once a year, yet it is still illegal?
.
Funny how this is a law but strip clubs are ok. No I don’t think it should be illegal. What goes on in my bedroom between me and my husband is between us.
