I was just researching a story and I know that there is some illegal drug activity in japan but i don’t know if there is actually a market for morphine. and what form would in be sold in?
and another thing, is there a specific red-light district in tokyo?

Why is Google Maps showing addresses of sex workers in your city? Yes, that’s right, you did not read this incorrectly, instead this is a FACT. Visit Google and type in the name of your city and the word “escorts” and you will surely be given a Google Maps result listing addresses of local sex workers in your city!
How can this be? Google’s mission has long been “do no evil” but this fact seems contradictory to their mission and listing addresses of escorts and sex workers around the world surely can only be described as evil? What’s even worse is that this is helping to promote underage prostitution.
Being the father of a 15 year old girl that was lured into prostitution 7 months ago, I am making it my personal mission to communicate to the world just how insane these Google Maps listings for escorts and prostitutes really are. These Google Maps for illegal bawdy houses and escorts show just how easy it is for an underage girl to be lured into prostitution, even if she comes from a good family upbringing. This is not an isolated case; instead the USA is the 3rd worst country in the world for underage prostitution, with over 500,000 suspected cases while Thailand and China reported with less than 200,000.

Let’s investigate this a little more in detail.
Summary of Facts Discovered:

GoogleMaps is doing nothing to Prevent Child Prostitution
Google Maps for escorts is much worse than Craigslist, and should also be Removed
Google is engaging in unlawful activity by listing hookers/escorts in Google Maps
Google is using its own servers to host these in Google Maps
Google Maps for escorts are all FAKE and is in fact just SPAM of the worst kind
Google seems to be the only search engine doing this
GoogleMaps can be easily hijacked and used for SPAM or other Illegal Activities
GoogleMaps for escorts have nude photos
There is no 18+ Age Warning or Verification for GoogleMaps Listing Escorts, making them easily viewable by underage children!

Maybe all other search engines are doing this and Google is just trying to stay in pace with their competition? Having reviewed the other major search engines like bing.com, yahoo.com, and ask.com it seems that only Google is in fact doing this. Therefore, Google is the only search engine doing this.
Next, after checking the laws regarding listing addresses of sex workers / bawdy houses, it is in fact illegal! Check for yourself and you will notice all their Google Maps URL’s starting with http://maps.google.com/maps……….. therefore clearly indicating they are hosting on their servers such illegal information about Bawdy Houses. Google is engaging in unlawful activities by aiding in the advertising of bawdy houses and prostitution online through their Google Maps Escort Listings.
Are these addresses even real? Well after further investigation, seems that these addresses listed for escorts in Google maps are actually FAKE! It sure seems like Google is having a great difficulty policing their Google Maps since there is an overwhelming abuse and manipulation taking place.
Having visited some of the escort addresses listed in Google Maps for my city, it seems many if not all of them are FAKE. Go to Google and type in the following without quotes “Toronto Escorts – Outcall Agency – ACE” and the result will be an address for this so called business with its address being 66 Escort Street, Toronto, Ontario. This Street is Completely Fake! I thought Google prides itself in providing high quality search results? I guess I was wrong.

In addition, Google Maps listings are easily hijacked, and there are countless examples of this everywhere! The best example for this is the Hijacking of Microsoft’s business listing in Google Maps into “Microsoft Escort Service” (which is obviously False) and just shows how Vulnerable Google Maps listings are in general. Check out the screenshot example below showing just how easy any Google Maps Listing can be easily Hijacked.

Lastly, I would like to compare the fact that so many complaints have been made about Craigslist in our mainstream media lately, when in fact they should be made about Google Maps Escort listings instead. Craigslist doesn’t list actual addresses, but Google Maps does. Craigslist gives a Warning Message stating their Erotic Sections are for 18+ years of age only, but there is No Warning or Age Verification for GoogleMaps Escort Listings. Google Maps listings for escorts are FAKE and is in fact just SPAM of the worst kind.
In Conclusion of this investigation of GoogleMaps has determined that all the points below are 100% verified facts, and therefore GoogleMaps listings for escorts must be removed.

Google Maps needs to remove these illegal escort listings showing addresses in Google Maps, it just makes them look stupid and out of touch with their ideals for accurate and useful information as well as contradictory to their long standing “do no evil” policy.

In prostitution, someone plays someone else to have sex with them. Its illegal.
In pornography, someone pays you to have sex with someone, and also documents it…. and its legal!?

Someone told me porn has to do with free speech, but that doesn’t explain why prostitution is illegal then.
Someone else told me prostitution spreads disease and is not regulated and thats why its illegal. Well its not regulated because its not allowed.
So can someone explain this?
It looks like two identical things to me: sex for money.

I’ve heard that business’s like adult video stores are not allowed to sell sex toys in texas.
Ok so i found out that it is illegal. But you can get around it if you say that they are for novelty purposes. What a stupid law. If you try and sell them for their “intended” purposes you can get jail time.

We may set out by simply defining prostitution as the business of having sex for money especially by a woman. “Prostitute” may therefore refer to “a person, most of the time a woman, who has sex with people for money.” Wikipedia.org

Prostitution is certainly not the world’s oldest profession, contrary to the cliché that for centuries recognizes it to be so, instead, hunting and gathering may naturally have been so because it required working to feed himself (About.com: Civil Liberties.) However, the history of prostitution can be likened to the history of mankind because every civilization has practiced it; modern persons continue to patronize them while the name now beautifully sounds as “commercial sex workers”

Because of the seeming unholy nature of the practice and stigma attached to it, women in the profession are called several names some of which are hooker, whore, hoe, street walker, sex worker or escort, but in Nigeria we call them “Ashawo,” “Akuna,” “Ashamgba” etc. Several notable people all over the world including political office holders are known to patronize prostitution ranging from the poor to the wealthy in every society which is a major reason the business continues to thrive in spite of global criticisms against it.

Many of these women have greatly benefited from this business while a lot have regretted ever venturing into it, it is indeed a happy song for some while it is a mournful poem for others, and still the business is full of attractions and never sees the end. Many of these big men in our societies who patronize them do so discreetly, urging them to keep it up, while coming in the overt to advance sly and non-weighty bills on why prostitutes should keep off the streets of the world, which is why the profession is likely to grow to equal the world oil market or the American Stock Exchange in the nearest future.

Interestingly, while certain countries have officially made moves to kick against prostitution by proclaiming it illegal, other countries have justified it, officially proclaiming it as legal. Prostitutions therefore can be legal or illegal depending on which country you choose to be.

This is the main focus of this article. The question it posses to you now is prostitution legal or illegal?

In Nigeria, several attempts have been made to curb prostitution through arrests in the recent past, especially with the help of Civil society, but the Nigerian society have failed to arrive at a consensus on how to legally handle this booming profession. While some would prefer that it be outlawed, others have seemingly and sympathetically justified the profession on bad economy of the country, and feel that outlawing it will do no more than further victimize the victims. Nigeria is therefore confused on what steps to take to reduce prostitution.

The Italian law supposedly forbids prostitution but this is not backed by convictions, traffickers are supposed to be punished by the police but only very little has been achieved in this area. The country has therefore mostly resorted to deportation policies for foreigners.

At least, we have seen some countries where prostitution is made legal, with taxes generated from prostitutes. Japan is more confused than Nigeria and Italy, in this country, virginal prostitution is illegal while oral sex prostitution is legal. Turkey is also as confused as Nigeria and Italy, in this country; it is legal through government and illegal through streets (wikipedia.org) In Hawaii, prostitution is fast gaining support courtesy of the bill advocates as the profession may just come to legally stay here.

So how does this age long profession strike you, should you consider it legal or illegal? Your view counts.
