What are some must-see places in Amsterdam?

I’m going to Amsterdam next week for 2-3 days. We’re planning to see Anne Frank’s Museum, and Keukenhof.
Could someone give some suggestions and tips? Please don’t suggest me to visit the Red Light District because I’ll travel with my mom.
And when is the “right” time to visit Keukonhof?
