Is prostitution a good thing if done correctly?

By correctly I mean legalize and regulate it throughout the U.S. It would make things a lot safer and a lot more clean. It really isn’t that hard to setup brothels and red light districts. Allow the girls to register as sex workers which requires them to receive regular STD tests. Give them a scan card that they swipe whenever they check in for work and it will say whether they have had their most recent medical checkups. Many developed countries already do this! If they can regulate the porn industry they definitely can regulate prostitution.

It would get many girls off the street and away from abusive pimps. I know not all of them but a lot of them. It would allow law enforcement to focus on the real criminals and it would help our economy.

I know many of you think prostitution is degrading and morally wrong but come on! Who are you to judge what two consenting adults do with their bodies behind closed doors? Prostitutes are no worse than the millions of women who go out to bars, get drunk, and sleep with some random guy whose name they can’t even remember. I say legalize it!
