What are consequences to legalizing prostitution?
Increased STD’s for one.
Dangerous STDs spreading all over.
Civilization as we know it would collapse, as it did in Nevada and most of Europe.
1) spread of Diseases
2) Unwanted Pregnancies
3) Unwanted Fatherhood and subsequently unwanted child support obligations
4) Street walker type prostitutes are easy targets for killers
In places where it is legal the prostitutes are given check ups and std tests weekly. So to say it would INCREASE the spread is ignorant. It’s immoral. For the most part that is what keeps it from becoming legal.
1. The prostitutes would be safer and could report things like rape, theft, etc.
2. Std check ups could be monitored to control/limit spread of stds (most prostitutes get checked regularly anyway.
3. You’d have a happier population with less crime, rape, and frustration.
4. Life would be easier for everyone.
There are no negative consequences of prostitution, both sides come out happy. Those who say prostitution leads to other crimes are wrong. There will always be drugs, robberies, and murders, with or without prostitution.
Consequences of legalizing it: no more pimps, girls can get checked out for std’s regularly, increased tax revenue, less crime associated with it, police can concentrate on real crimes instead of wasting resources on this.
But it won’t happen because those hypocrites who consider themselves the moral elite have too much control over politicians to let it happen.
