The most education in the world means nothing if the need is there and the need is always there. The rich man has seen a need and figured out how to fill it.

  2. Cloverfield Monster says:

It is because people in undeveloped countries allow themselves to be completely brainwashed by their religion.

    because its fun

Because your mom likes to go shopping.

World’s oldest profession still earns money no matter where you are. If people are willing to pay, then people are willing to sell – educated or not.

Ummm….because woman realize they can make $1000 per hour. Who’s the dumb one the girl or the visitor paying thousands of dollars.?

where else can you make that much money laying down?

Because there is a such thing as educated prostitute. Some women and men do it to pay for college.

  9. ilikehotgirls says:

not all of them are educated because the cost of the education or school in developed country are getting higher by a year and their parents job salary is staying so they don’t have anything to do and want to get a job which makes money for them but they understand how bad is prostituon. and nearly all of the prostitus in developed country are underage as well.

Prostitution is an age-old “profession”. It will exist as long as there is a calling for it- and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

prostitution is shown to be the oldest job in the world and some people dont take advantage of the education given to them

because even in developed countries sex is a natural instinct…and even devoloped countries have people who have major problmes that can cause lack of jobs.. but then sex is just our animal instinct…i guess that the answer…its a shame but if its the only way a person could survive other than drug dealing then i dont really blame them…maybe ther are just really nice people who got into trouble and went down a different path.

men are the ball players in the world of being a boss, n in being a boss come sex, so its always a way to make money, n what do men love to do more then make money
    HAVE SEX
so even tho it has been a very educated developed country, no matter what year or time zone it is, sex sells, period.

It has nothing to education But has a lot to do with cheating.I wish I could say it will change But I do not see it happening.

Actually you are raising an interesting question. But to me, your line of logic is a little bit “biased”. Consider the following: suppose some 80% (a purely hypothetical number) of a developed country have “good education”, do you automatically consider that this percentage is also true for the prostitutes? Then if true, following your logic, they would prefer not to be as such and would choose alternative sources of income. But you see that this is not true. This is the first point I want to make.
Secondly, just let me remind you of the famous so-called “red-light” district in Amsterdam. What percentage of the “workers” are actually Dutch you think? I doubt at most 10% maybe? Again, I don’t want to speculate on numbers, just to give you an idea. By the way, I do not claim that you will not see an educated prostitute, but your chances are too low I guess.
Thirdly, as mentioned above, the demand-supply cause-consequence works: there will always be (my personal perception) a need for sexual services (again the case of Amsterdam, where we see a whole industry).
And fourth, do not forget about the system of values, since the behaviour that is undesirable and entitles disutility for you may not be the case for another person. And at last, I guess there is a problem with the way how to define whether prostitution exists or not; what I imply is that it is very controversial as regards the limits where one can claim that either there is actually prostitution or not.
I could go on but suppose this will do.

Sexual needs, nor the desire to provide them, are not removed either by education or affluence. Capitalist economies (US, UK, Australia and so on) are not Utopias, and happiness is not a definable goal for everyone anyway. Personal differences on happiness and satisfaction differ grealty between people, as well as economies.

In most developed countries, much of the prostitution is not subsistence: it is a job like any other, more or less, despite cultural mores..
